EVMS Facilities provides a safe, clean, functional, comfortable and sustainable environment for our students, faculty, staff and visitors. We design, construct, operate, maintain, service, and enhance our infrastructure, grounds and environment with a strong commitment to excellence, collegiality and integrity.
EVMS Facilities is responsible for Building Operations and Maintenance, Campus Housing, Groundskeeping, Housekeeping, Pest Control, Vehicle Maintenance, Waste Management, renovations to existing buildings and new construction on the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus.
Campus Housing
EVMS Campus Housing is located across Colley Avenue from the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus. Campus Housing offers one bedroom, two bedroom, and one bedroom with loft apartments. EVMS students and residents are eligible to rent from Campus Housing. Both furnished and unfurnished apartments are available with professional management, maintenance, and security on site.

Groundskeeping
EVMS Groundskeeping is provided by Bishop's Tree Service, a local Hampton Roads supplier of tree and grounds maintenance. Groundkeeping is responsible for the upkeep and appearance of assinged outdoor areas and assists with maintaining the seasonal needs of parking lots and walkways on the Eastern Virginia Medical center campus.

Housekeeping
EVMS Housekeeping is provided by Olympus Building Services, a world class provider of higher educaion housekeeping services. Housekeeping maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of EVMS facilities on the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus. Housekeeping also provides set up and cleaning support for various classes, conferences, receptions and special events held in our facilities.

Maintenance
EVMS Maintenance provides maintenance service to all EVMS buildings and parking facilities on the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus, emphasizing professional, timely and reliable emergent and non-emergent repairs.

Pest Management
EVMS Pest Management supports, develops and implements integrated pest management (IPM) programs that address the needs of the EVMS facilities on the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus. IPM focuses on prevention by removing conditions that attract pests, coordination with local pest control contractors and educating building occupants on IPM principles.

Vehicle Maintenance
EVMS Vehicle Maintenance provides quality motor vehicle repairs and service to support the mission of various EVMS departments. In particular Vehicle Maintenance is responsible for supporting the Eastern Virginia Medical Center shuttle buses. Vehicle Maintenance also supports the Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD) and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH) vehicles. Vehicle Maintenance is the authorized provider of fuel for EVMS, CHKD and SNGH vehilces.

Waste Management
EVMS Waste Management provides commercial waste removal and recycling solutions to the EVMS facilities on the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus. Waste Management promotes sustainable resource management practices in order to conserve the earth's natural resources.
