EVMS Special Events’ mission is to:
- Plan and implement institutional events and ceremonies to support EVMS’ mission and academic priorities.
- Provide consultation, training and resources to departments or organizers engaged in planning to ensure protocols and standards of professionalism are upheld in campus events.
- Address systems for improving workflow and campus-wide effectiveness between planners and supporting departments.
- Work with external partners to facilitate events that align with the institution’s mission, vision and values.
