Commencement is the central event in EVMS’ academic calendar as well as the culminating event in our students' education. Faculty play an important role in the success of Commencement and their participation is meaningful to our graduates.

All full-time and part-time faculty, as well as Associate and Assistant Deans, are encouraged to participate in EVMS’ Commencement to be held Saturday, May 14, 2022. Community faculty are also invited to take part.

EVMS will provide rental regalia for all faculty participants who do not have their own regalia. RSVPs are required to ensure we have regalia and the proper number of seats in the arena. Please make sure that you register for Commencement no later than Monday, March 21, 2022. Please note that RSVPs made after this date may not be able to be accommodated due to delays in shipping with our vendor.

Our current COVID-19 guidance does not require masking, proof of vaccination or a negative test result to attend Commencement exercises; however, please be advised that our masking policies may change with limited notice. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to navigate the pandemic and keep our community members safe during this time of celebration.
