Commencement at EVMS is an exciting time to share and celebrate your accomplishments with friends and family. We know these last few months can be stressful — finishing classes, taking exams, making sure you've met your requirements and figuring out what’s next.
This section will help you navigate the next few months as you prepare for the big day, Saturday, May 20, 2023. It includes information about Commencement week activities, upcoming deadlines and more.
While the Commencement Ceremony does not have a guest limit or require tickets, family and friends must register in advance to attend. Registration for ancillary events such as program receptions, White Coat ceremonies and other celebrations will require registration only by graduates who will indicate their guest counts at that time.
EVMS will not require vaccinations or masks to attend EVMS Commencement. However, due to the nature of large gathering, close contact and potential risks, EVMS supports any individual who wishes to wear a mask during the ceremony. Find current information about masking and public health protocols.
