Graduation Application

  • All students who are eligible to graduate and will meet all program requirements by the end of the Spring 2024 Term or have an expected graduation date that is within 90 days from May 18, 2024 must complete the online EVMS Application for Graduation in order to participate in the annual EVMS Commencement Ceremony and receive the award of a certificate or diploma.
  • The application for graduation was due Friday, December 15, 2023. Any student who failed to complete the application by that deadline will not be able to RSVP for the EVMS Commencement Ceremony and may not have their name listed in the Commencement program and other Commencement-related materials and communications. Please contact the EVMS Registrar or EVMS Special Events for questions.
  • Diplomas will be ordered for all eligible students once the programs have confirmed that all program requirements have been completed.
  • The application for graduation must be received by the Registrar’s Office in order for a diploma or certificate to be ordered.

Name Change Instructions

Currently enrolled students seeking to change their name should complete the Name Change Certification Form and submit to the EVMS Registrar. Find Name Change Instructions and certification form.

The deadline to submit this paperwork is Monday, March 18, 2024 in order to ensure that the name change reflects correctly in the EVMS Commencement program, other Commencement-related printed and digital materials, and on the Jumbotron during the Commencement Ceremony.

Diploma Address Change Form

If an address or name change is needed for the diploma or if your expected graduation date will be 90 days after May 20, 2023 you must complete the online EVMS Diploma Address Change Form and have submitted to the Registrar’s Office by Friday, May 10, 2024.
