Sources of financial aid and amounts
As a graduate professional student, you are eligible from non-need based financial aid. Your federal loan eligibility will be for the Unsubsidized loan and the graduate PLUS Loan. The maximum eligibility for the Unsubsidized loan is $20,500 per year. MD, MPH and MHA students have slightly higher limits. Please check with EVMS Financial Aid for more information on increased eligibility.
The Graduate PLUS loan amounts will vary depending on the cost of attendance budget for your program. The amount of the graduate plus loan will be the cost of attendance minus all other award financial aid. For more information about other sources of aid, please visit the types of aid page.
