Application procedures
NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2024
- Review the admissions requirements.
- Submit application, including the nonrefundable $125 application fee.
- Log into the online application, create a username/password and complete and submit the online form. If you cannot complete the form in one sitting, all of your information will be saved, and you may return to finish the process.
- Submit a personal statement.
- Using the form provided within the online system, submit two letters of recommendation using the online application system.
- Following the online instructions, applicants must contact every college or university attended and request transcripts to be sent directly to GradCAS. GradCAS only accepts electronic transcripts from:

- Submit an official TOEFL score (international students)
- International applicants: Please go to the ETS website to request your official TOEFL scores be sent directly to GradCAS and use the code B886. ETS reports scores for two years after the test date. If you have previously taken the TOEFL but the two-year period has expired, the program will accept a personal copy if available.
- U.S. students seeking financial aid: Please visit Financial Aid.
Completed GradCAS Application
- A completed application requires a paid application fee, all transcripts and 2 letters of recommendation
- All coursework must be entered in GradCAS in the Transcript Entry section
- Incomplete GradCAS applications WILL NOT be reviewed.
International applicants
Translation: If the academic institution that you attended does not issue documents in English, the credentialing agency will require that you submit a word-for-word translation of your transcripts. You can contact University Language Services to submit your transcript for translation and instruct them to send the translated transcript to the credentialing agency you choose.
Transcript Evaluation: International students whose native language is not English may contact one of the following credentialing agencies to submit transcripts for official evaluation: World Education Services or Educational Credential Evaluators. You must provide both a course-by-course evaluation report along with an overall GPA calculation. Instruct the credentialing agency to send the official evaluation (and translation) directly to the GradCAS at the following address:

NOTE: GradCAS will ONLY accept the evaluation report from the credential agency. Do not send your foreign transcript to GradCAS.
TOEFL: International applicants, whose native language is not English, must take the TOEFL exam and receive a score as follows: Paper-based test: 550; Computer-based test: 213; iBT exam: 80. Please go to the ETS website to take the TOEFL exam, and request your TOEFL scores be sent directly to the GradCAS and use the Code B886. ETS reports scores for two years after the test date. If you have previously taken the TOEFL but the two-year period has expired, the program will accept a personal copy if available.
Application submission
Before an invitation to interview can be granted to the applicant, online application must be completed and submitted together with application fee.
There are two options for admission:
- Early Decision: Applications should be submitted by Dec. 15 for early admission consideration. Interview offers will be made to selected applicants after Jan. 1.
- Open Admissions: Applications should be submitted by Feb. 15 for regular admissions. After this date, interview offers will be made to selected applicants.
Submissions after Feb. 15 will be considered on a rolling basis until July 31 or until all positions are filled. Submissions before Feb. 15 receive priority.
Students who plan to seek financial aid are advised to submit their applications as early as possible.
Upon acceptance into the program, a $300 nonrefundable matriculation fee (which will be credited toward the first semester's tuition) is required to secure class placement.
