Applications open Oct. 1 for consideration for admission the following fall term, and applications are reviewed until the class is filled. The fall class is anticipated to be 15 students. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by March 1.
Admissions
Review process
For applications received by March 1 the following review process will be used:
- Applications reviewed and offers for applicant interviews by March 8
- Applicant interviews scheduled by March 19
- Interviews conducted by April 9
- Admission offers made by April 16
- Admission offers accepted by applicants by April 30
- Decision to close admissions or continue reviewing applications by April 30
For US Students
- No GRE or GMAT required.
- Completion of all undergraduate degree requirements from an accredited institution prior to matriculating in the MHA program, with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- In the case where an applicant’s cumulative GPA is below the minimum 3.0, reviewers may consider a replacement GPA computed from the most recent 40 semester credit hours of U.S. or Canadian coursework.
- Two (2) letters of reference from academic or workplace affiliations that reflect on an applicant’s behavior, character, and leadership ability.
- Personal essay describing how the MHA degree will enhance the applicant’s professional goals.
- Current CV/resume documenting professional experience, educational achievements, and volunteer experience.
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. Ensure the degree conferral date is listed on the awarding institution’s transcript.
- Transcripts must be sent to GradCAS only. GradCAS only accepts electronic transcripts from Credentials Solutions, Parchment, and National Student Clearinghouse. If your school does not offer either of these services, your transcript must be sent via mail. Please use the information below to send your transcripts.

- Interview: Screened applicants will meet with the MHA admissions committee to assess interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and an understanding and commitment to MHA career paths. Applicants may have the opportunity to take a campus tour on the day of the interview.
For International Students
- No GRE or GMAT required.

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Minimum scores: Paper 550, Computer 213, iBT 80 OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
- Minimum scores: Total 6.5, Subscores: 6.

- In cases where a non-U.S. grading system has been used, verification must be provided by one of the following services:
- Interview: Screened applicants will meet with the MHA admissions committee to assess interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and an understanding and commitment to MHA career paths. Applicants may have the opportunity to take a campus tour on the day of the interview.

Waivers to admission standards will be considered on a case-by-case basis to students who can demonstrate exceptional qualifications.
