Anatomy Guy is a vertically integrated medical education website created by Craig Goodmurphy, PhD, Professor of Pathology and Anatomy, in 2010. The site is designed to bring relevant medical education to the greater global audience at all levels of training and curiosity. It has educational materials for a vast audience from fifth grade students dissecting a frog, to medical professionals and even to patients.
In the first three years of the project, Dr. Goodmurphy has been able to create over 400 educational videos. These videos are freely available to anyone in the world. In fact, the site is visited in over 190 countries by more than a quarter million viewers. Not only does this enhance EVMS' global impact, but it also provides educational projects and research opportunities for hundreds of medical students, residents and high school students.
