The Radiology Residency program is an advanced program. We have chosen not to mandate a specific preliminary year or to incorporate it as a Categorical program. This allows maximum flexibility for individuals who may need to spend that year elsewhere for family reasons or who wish to undertake a clinical year in surgery.
Residents are usually accepted via the Match in the Supplemental Position format. Current fourth-year medical students should apply to both our Supplemental positions (NRMP Program Code 298042A0) and to a Preliminary year of their choice.
We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) through our participation in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Our application deadline is Nov. 30.
The application must include all of the following:
- Application form
- Medical school transcript
- At least three (3) letters of recommendation
- United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) scores
- Step 1 is required; Step 2 is optional but preferred. A passing score on the written (USMLE) Step 1 and Step 2 is necessary for entrance into our residency program
- Personal statement
After receiving your application through ERAS, the Residency Interview Committee reviews candidate applications and selects individuals who qualify for interviews. Interviews are by invitation only.
All applicants will be notified by email whether they have been selected for interviews.
