Why I chose EVMS: I was interested in EVMS EM because it had everything I was looking for in a program: a strong academic curriculum, strong ultrasound curriculum, level 1 trauma center, good pediatric exposure, and a great location. I felt the training would prepare me to be a great physician. I knew I wanted to come to EVMS when I interviewed. The residents were a tight knit group, everyone got a long really well and were very welcoming.
