Hobbies and Interest: HIIT workouts (current obsession is Orange Theory Fitness), hiking, cycling, traveling (try to do a new country every year), reading, and hanging out with my family (husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats).

Why I chose EVMS: I really enjoyed everyone I came into contact with during my interview and resident hang out. The residents were so close and I wanted to be part of that family. I was also really drawn to the different rotations we get to do, the variety in training sites, and Nightingale helicopter opportunities. I loved that we have the opportunity to do more procedures since there isn't an anesthesia or ortho residency at EVMS. I felt like EVMS had everything I needed to become a strong emergency physician. Plus, who doesn't want to live near the beach??? Lastly, EVMS having Epic is a HUGE bonus for me!
