Why I chose EVMS: I applied to EVMS because it had everything I was looking for - a southern program with a variety of training sites (especially including a rural site), strong EMS and ultrasound curricula, a level I trauma center, and a group of people who actually care about people. Interview day really helped me decide that EVMS was for me. Talking to everyone was effortless, people seemed to have the same values, and you could tell that people just wanted to get to know you, not re-hash what your application already said.
