Hobbies and Interests: Emily enjoys riding the emotional rollercoaster that is UofSC football, reading at the beach, cuddling with my fluffy Boykin spaniels, cycling

Why I chose EVMS: After rotating here as a fourth year student, I knew EVMS was going to be my top choice. I love the ability to learn in multiple settings including rural and suburban community sites as well as a large academic tertiary care center. There are also opportunities and support to explore different facets of EM such as EMS, US, etc. But most importantly, the camaraderie between the faculty and residents created a real family feel. I look forward to training here over the next three years and spending some time at the beach on my days off!
