Why I chose EVMS: EVMS had everything I was looking for in a residency: abundant procedures, diversity of clinical settings, strong pediatric training, ample elective time to explore my interests, great location, familial atmosphere, and overall good vibes. The personality of the program shone through in spite of the limiting nature of a virtual interview season; I enjoyed connecting with both faculty and residents. Ultimately, I chose EVMS Emergency Medicine because I felt it was the best place for me to continue developing both personally and professionally.
