Month of AMAy events at the Library

We will have several events happening in the library throughout May. There will be watch party events and books on display to recognize National Stroke Awareness Month, National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month, National Arthritis Awareness Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month throughout the month of May.

Wednesday, May 1, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A watch party for “Stroke Care Simplified: Strategies for Efficient Management and Patient Flow” presented by the American Heart Association, will be held in the Library Computer Classroom. Snacks provided. Learn more and register.

Tuesday, May 7, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A watch party for “Applying a Social Justice Framework to Arthritis Management and Well-being” presented by the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, will be held in the SunTrust Conference Room on the 4th floor of the library. Snacks provided. Learn more and register.

Wednesday, May 15, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Library Focus Group for EVMS Students will be held in the SunTrust Conference Room.

Tuesday, May 21, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A watch party for “Responding in a Mental Health Emergency” presented by Mindspring Mental Health Alliance, will be held in the Library Computer Classroom. Snacks provided. Learn more and register.

Wednesday, May 22, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Library Focus Group for EVMS Faculty will be held in the SunTrust Conference Room.
