Tetsuya Kawakita, MD

Dr. Kawakita received his M.D. from Kanazawa University School of Medicine in Japan. During his medical school, he decided to go to the U.S. in order to seek better opportunities to conduct research. During his residency and fellowship, he met exceptional research and clinical mentors and published numerous peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Kawakita joined Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2020. Dr. Kawakita is excited to provide residents and fellows with clinical teaching and research opportunities.
