Our physicians

Internal medicine physicians provide long-term, comprehensive care in the office and the hospital. They manage common and complex illnesses of adolescents, adults and the elderly.

  • Internists diagnose and treat cancer, infections and diseases affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, joints and digestive, respiratory and vascular systems.
  • Internists are also skilled in disease prevention, wellness, substance abuse, mental health, and effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs.

The patient-centered medical home

When you make an appointment to see one of our physicians, you'll walk into much more than a medical office. You'll be entering a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).

The PCMH isn't a home in the traditional sense but an innovative way to organize and deliver care that was developed by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). To become a certified PCMH, clinical practices must complete a rigorous, comprehensive and transparent accreditation program.

We know our patients want more than just a medical diagnosis and a prescription. The PCMH is a centralized setting that facilitates partnerships between a patient, the internist, and when appropriate, the patient's family. The emphasis is on interdisciplinary care provided by an entire team, each with a specific role, from your physician to your nurse to your technician, even the front desk scheduler.

Through PCMH, we take pride in building positive, supportive relationships with our patients and their families.
