Primeplus Senior Center helps older adults achieve greater, productive quality of life while living independently in their community. They assist Norfolk’s senior and disabled residents with challenges such as food shortages, transportation, exercise, socialization and education. Primeplus aids seniors to live a healthier lifestyle using a holistic approach to exercise and wellness. Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia is a regional organization in South Hampton Roads that supports and enriches the lives of seniors and their families through advocacy, education, information and comprehensive services. Senior Services is designated as the Area Agency on Aging, and is a private, nonprofit organization, serving residents of southeastern Virginia, which includes Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Isle of Wight and Southampton counties. Senior Services offers easy access to programs and resources that support and enhance the lives of older adults. The Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association provides supportive programs and services to help people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, their caregivers and families deal with the disease and its impact on their lives. They offer a variety of services, including information and referral, care consultation, support groups, safety services, and education.

ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry of clinical trials and includes privately and publicly funded clinical studies conducted around the world.

TrialMatch is a service provided by the Alzheimer’s Association that creates customized lists of clinical studies based on user-provided information. The free, easy-to-use platform allows you to see which studies are a good fit for you or a family member.
