Education

Our hospitalists lead teams comprised of:

One PGY2 or PGY3 EVMS Internal Medicine Resident
Two Interns from EVMS or Portsmouth Naval Hospital
2-3 Third Year Medical Students
1 Fourth Year ‘Acting Intern’
We also host MPA students from EVMS, visiting students from across the country, Pharmacy Residents, and Observers from across the world

In addition to daily teaching rounds, we attend case conferences led by our Chief Residents and Grand Rounds at noon 2-3 times per week.
