Annual student-run Community Care Day is April 5

This year's Community Care Day takes place 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 5. For the first time, students will host the event at the Salvation Army, 5516 Raby Road in Norfolk.
As in years past, the students will continue to offer important health screenings free of charge. These can include blood sugar screenings, Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, hearing, vision and skin cancer checks. There also will be student-run health information booths as well as the Maury High School science fair judged by EVMS students. Performers from the Tidewater Art Outreach Sea Level Singer-Songwriter Festival will entertain attendees, and 92.9 The Wave will broadcast live from the event.
