Canoles Cancer Center researcher's work featured on the Animal Planet show "Monsters Inside Me".

A paper written by Aurora Kerscher and her College of William & Mary collaborator Jon Allen published in The American Journal of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene in 2013 entitled "Gongylonema pulchrum infection in a resident of Williamsburg, Virginia verified by genetic analysis." (Allen & Esquela-Kerscher, Am. J. Trop. Med. Hyg. Oct;89(4):755-7.) had generated nationwide press - was recently featured on the TV show Animal Planet - Monsters Inside Me, “The Monster in My Mouth”, Season 8, Episode 4, aired October 29, 2017.
