EVMS to benefit from charity house at fall Homearama

Story Date: Thu, 28 Jun 2012 09:45:00 EDT

Thanks to L.R. Hill Custom Builders, EVMS will be the beneficiary of a charity house at the Tidewater Builders
Association's fall Homearama, Oct. 13-28. Proceeds from the sale of the EVMS Healthy House, as it's been named, will support the 2013 EVMS Fund, which provides support for priorities across campus.

In addition to the builder, suppliers are donating materials and time to lower the cost of constructing the home, thereby boosting the amount that will come to EVMS when it sells. Smith Interiors of Virginia Beach was one of the first businesses to sign up to lend their expertise to the project.

Keep an eye on the EVMS Facebook page for regular updates on the house and the organizations helping make it a success for Hampton Roads' medical school.
