Tidewater Pediatric Society

Tidewater Pediatric Society (TPS) promotes collegial interactions between community physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters subspecialists. TPS meets the education goals of community and hospital pediatricians by providing up-to-date medical information on etiologies, diagnoses and management of common pediatric illnesses that can be applied to the clinical care of children.

TPS meetings occur four times a year; the evening begins with a one-hour reception followed by dinner. At the conclusion of dinner, TPS members enjoy dessert and coffee while an engaging one-hour presentation is given by local and international medical experts. Each lecture provides one hour of AMA-PRA Category 1 credit. Please note that reservations are required for all dinner meetings. RSVP to a TPS dinner.

Membership

New members are typically inducted every January. This is also when dues for membership are initiated or renewed.  Please contact EVMS Pediatrics by phone at 757-668-7486 to learn more about TPS, including application inquiries and fee schedules.
