EVMS hosts listening session and discussion on geriatric health

Join EVMS health experts and local leaders for a virtual listening session and panel discussion on health disparities and geriatric health. The Path Forward: An EVMS Listening Session and Panel Discussion on Geriatric Health will be held on Monday, June 28, from noon to 1 p.m. 

The panel will include:

  • Cynthia Romero, MD, Director of the EVMS M. Foscue Brock Institute for Community and Global Health
  • Marissa Galicia-Castillo, MD, Sue Faulkner Scribner Professor of Geriatrics and Chief of Palliative Medicine at EVMS, Professor of Internal Medicine
  • Hamid Okhravi, MD, the Alfred E. Abiouness Distinguished Professorship in Geriatrics, Director of the Memory Assessment Clinic at the Glennan Center for Geriatrics and Gerentology, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine
  • Sen. Jen Kiggans, District 7, Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
