EVMS surgeon elected President of Virginia ACS
The Virginia Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) recently installed Eric Feliberti, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery, as President of the prestigious organization.
"I am very honored to have been elected as President of the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Surgeons,” says Dr. Feliberti. “The ACS is dedicated to improving the care of surgical patients as well as safeguarding standards of care and it’s a privilege to help guide that work."
The American College of Surgeons is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913.
The Virginia Chapter offers a medium through which surgical experiences may be presented and discussed and constitutes a common ground for specialties in various branches of surgery to communicate with each other.
