Help CINCH find preschools for HALO program
The Consortium for Infant and Child Health based at EVMS has been approved for funding to implement the Healthy Alternatives for Little Ones (HALO) program in Hampton Roads preschools. The program provides a holistic health curriculum in early-learning settings for children ages 3 to 6. Amy Paulson, Director of CINCH, says she just learned that to receive the funding, CINCH urgently needs to identify 24 more early-learning centers this week to participate in the program.
CINCH staff will teach the HALO lessons for the entire first year and purchase the curriculum kit and training materials. There will be no cost to the centers, and they will reap the benefits of helping to improve the health of the children they serve. If you know of a center that might be interested in becoming a HALO partner site, please email Sara Rothenberg, Assistant Director of CINCH, or call her at 446.6156.
