Human Resources streamlines, updates key policies
Over the past year and in coordination with senior leadership, the Board of Visitors and representatives of departments and programs across campus, Human Resources has updated a number of key policies to help enhance EVMS employees’ work lives and support services.
The revised policies have been approved by the EVMS Board of Visitors. Matthew Schenk, Executive Director of Human Resources, says all employees should review and familiarize themselves with the guidance.
“Some of the updates represent routine changes to policies guiding an institution the size and caliber of EVMS while others reflect changes brought about by the historic COVID-19 pandemic, which we have navigated successfully as a campus community thanks in large part to open communication and nimbleness among our teams,” Mr. Schenk says. “I strongly encourage all current and new employees to review the policies below to ensure you understand the guidelines, rules and regulations that help create the important institutional foundation that allows all of us to continue to do great work in our community.”
