Professional Enrichment and Growth grants awarded
EVMS Faculty Affairs and Professional Development has awarded Professional Enrichment and Growth (PEG) grants to 17 faculty members for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The grants were awarded during a competitive process that was open to all faculty in the School of Medicine and in the School of Health Professions. To qualify, the activity has to help the nominee achieve his or her professional goals as well as advance the academic missions of the department and the institution.
Below are this year's PEG grant recipients and their activities.
EDUCATION:
Teaching is defined as time spent in direct contact with learners by using techniques which deliver and/or reinforce information, stimulate thinking, and result in learning. Faculty members distinguish themselves as teachers while others excel in the design, production, or evaluation of courses, examinations, and /or instructional materials.
