The program is designed to provide students with knowledge and fundamental analytic skills to contribute to the health outcomes research and scholarly activities that improve healthcare knowledge and practice. Students will be trained with techniques and analytics strategies that will articulate analytics as a core strategy, transform health data into actionable insights and develop statistically sound and robust analytic solutions to health data. This program will address the increasing demand of healthcare analytics by strengthening the partnership between local hospitals, health organizations and community agencies.

The program is designed for individuals with bachelor’s degrees in healthcare, education, management, computer science or related disciplines. The program will also help professionals interested in career advancement or, possibly, a career change.

Data analytics is more than math, statistics and computer science. In fact, students can be successful in the program starting out with basic math skills. Our curriculum is designed to teach students logical thinking and fact-based decision making with their analytics insights.
