Peggy Gesing, PhD, Assistant Professor of Health Professions Education, presented “STEM student mobility intentions post-graduation and the role of reverse push-pull factors” and “Where are they now? A case study of the mobility and career outcomes of US educated international students” April 17 at the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) 63rd Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA.


Peggy Gesing, PhD Assistant Professor of Medical and Health Professions Education programs, presented “Impacts of Gender and Citizenship Status on STEM Career Outcomes” on April 5th at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2019 Annual Meeting in Toronto, ON.  The American Educational Research Association (AERA), founded in 1916, is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results.  AERA’s annual meeting hosts an average of 15,000 attendees.  


Cynthia Cadieux, PhD, RDN, FAND served as a consumer advocate for the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) research applications submitted to the PRMRP sponsored by the Department of Defense. Consumer reviewers are asked to represent the collective view of patients by preparing comments on the quality of life for a broad range of topic areas.
