Eastern Virginia Medical School is closely monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) outbreak. As the situation rapidly evolves, our priority is the wellbeing of EVMS students, faculty, and staff. EVMS remains operational, although some operations may be conducted virtually.

Rapid Online Course Conversion (ROC)

Distance Education has created a Rapid Online Conversion (ROC) team in order to assist faculty during this time. Please locate the newly created "Faculty Success Resources" and "Student Success Resources" Tabs that are located in the top right of the Blackboard dashboard. Additionally, a SharePoint Site has been curated with training materials, videos, and helpful links and is available to all Faculty and Program Administrators. This site can be accessed from any device but if you are off-campus you will need to use your EVMS credentials. Should you need assistance please submit a service request ticket.

Special On-Call Hours:

All Week (including weekends until mid-April) 8 am-8 pm

Distance Education will be taking help requests that involve any EVMS instructional technology and design expertise. We encourage you to first review the help materials and participate in the workshops before submitting a help request. Concerns with EVMS Login Credential and BlueJeans should go through the Help Desk and Media Services. Help requests that are submitted between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm will be addressed the same day. Any request received after 8 pm will be addressed starting at 8 am the following day. To fulfill your request promptly, please include information that can help us easily identify the course or location, persons involved, and any other details that you believe will be useful.
