Cancer Center Faculty member, David Mu, among elite group to attend Genomic Data Skills Training.

Dr. David Mu, Leroy T. Canoles Jr. Cancer Research Center Faculty member and Professor in the Microbiology and Molecular Cell Biology Department, is one of only 17 college faculty nationwide receiving admission to the Jackson Laboratory course, BIG GENOMIC DATA SKILLS TRAINING FOR GRADUATE PROFESSORS, funded by the NIH Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) Initiative. The goal of this program is to enable professors to launch comprehensive Big Data or Computational Biology training for graduate students at their institution. Course location: The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine - JAX Genomic Medicine, Farmington, CT. May 14 - 19, 2017.
