On Friday, March 13th, EVMS released a statement regarding COVID-19 stating that there will be no life support classes available through the Sentara Center for Immersive Learning until further notice. We are cancelling our AHA Life Support classes (Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS) that are scheduled between March 16th and May 31st, 2020 to protect the health of our community and staff.  You can monitor the www.evms.edu/covid-19/ website for updates.

The AHA released the following statement regarding “grace periods” for renewals. For those of you who need to submit certifications to employers, this may help: https://ahainstructornetwork.americanheart.org/idc/groups/ahaecc-public/@wcm/@ecc/documents/downloadable/ucm_505832.pdf
