For students

All students must complete the AHA HeartCode© Part 1 online prior to attending the hands-on training at EVMS. You must bring your completion certificate with you to the hands-on training to verify completion.

You will be emailed a key code from keys@onlineaha.org 30 days prior to your scheduled hands-on training session. In cases where you register for a course within 30 days of the hands-on training session, you will be emailed a key code within two business day of registration.

Our goal is to process all rosters within two business days of submission. Missing information such as student email addresses and incorrect information like insufficient course duration are common errors that will delay roster processing.

Beginning June 2018, eCards will be required for all participants. All participants must have a unique email address.

Once a student has claimed their eCard, the lead instructor has the ability to download or print a full- or wallet-sized eCard.

We do not loan out our equipment.

On October 3, 2017, the AHA’s suggested retail price (SRP) of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, CPR AED, First Aid and Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED student course completion cards/eCards was increased, while the SRP of related student online courses and student workbooks/eBooks was reduced. The shift was designed to make the student workbooks more accessible as a valuable reference tool before, during and after training as required by the AHA Program Administration Manual.
